Members of staff of the Yaba LCDA, Lagos will – at their respective homes- receive surprise, in form of Lockdown Parliatives from the Chairman, Hon. Kayode Omiyale
Stressing on the need for the staffers to benefit from the palliative, Omiyale stated that due to the Stay-at-home Order and the directive of the State Government which granted only Grade Level 15 and above access to their offices, Yaba LCDA staff could not “benefitted from any of the numerous stimulus packages we organised for the people of Yaba LCDA“
According to the the Chairman, the LCDA Staff “also form an integral parts of the populace“. “I have instructed the NULGE Chairman, Comrade Aderonke Ogunyemi to embark on house to house delivery of the stimulus pacckages using the five divisions we have in Lagos State”.
Omiyale added, “our findings show that majority of our staffers live in Ikorodu, Epe, Badagry, Sango and others.
Many of them will be reached with the arrangement put in place by the NULGE executive” he said.
Omiyale, however, “appealed to the members of staff to adhere strictly to NCDC instructions on social distancing, regular watching of hangs with soup in running water, use of sanitizer, use of Mask, personal hygiene and others.
