The leader of INRI Evangelical spiritual church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has predicted victory for the governor of Ondo state, Arakurin Rotimi Akeredolu in the APC Primaries in the state, slated to come on July, 20,2020.
The man of God while speaking about this in a telephone interview revealed that Rotimi Akeredolu will become victorious In the primary election because he has taken steps that will lead him to victory. He jokingly explained that he pities those contesting with him because they will lose at the end of the day. However, he noted that this doesn’t guarantee his victory in the general election because he sees danger lying ahead of him.
‘I just pity those who want to contest with Rotimi Akeredolu, If he does what is needful, the election will be a walk over, Akeredolu will win the primaries because of the steps he has taken. Although this doesn’t guarantee his victory in the general election, because danger still lies ahead of him’’
When asked about the PDP primaries in Ondo and the outcome of Edo state general election, he revealed that he will speak about PDP primaries soon and that of Edo general election which will come up in September. He also expressed his displeasure in Edo-based prophets who have kept quiet during this period. He adviced that a time like this isnt the time to be quiet, and that they should speak up like they normally do when they make utterances.
‘On PDP and winner of Edo general election, I will address it very soon. Its unfortunate that Edo pastors are fidgeting, they are not talking the way they make utterances, this is a time a prophet doesn’t need to be silent, if they like it or not, its fine, we are working to satisfy the lord’’
Also, Primate Ayodele made a strong warning to the military, he made it known that if care isnt taken, military men will start killing each other, he predicted assassination attempt on the chief of army staff, General Buratai. He also noted that there is corruption in the Nigerian army. He alsoasked that Nigerians pray against plane crash
‘If care isn’t taken, military will be killing military. The chief of army staff will face assassination attempt, I don’t know if he will survive it. Let’s pray against any plane crash , Air force or police helicopter or any private jet crash.’’
It is worthy of being noted that in the beginning of 2019, Primate Ayodele predicted that he sees mutiny in the army and shockingly, recently, over 350 military men resigned.
While speaking on why his prophecies have proven to be accurate over time and why he has never been associated with any politician or government, he made it known that he isn’t a prophet who relies on information from government before he makes prophecies, explaining that he doesn’t work for any government too because he isn’t friends to politician
‘’ We are not working with any government, its unfortunate that pastors who work for the government rely on the information they get before making prophecies, I am not a friend of any politician, if anyone says I am his friend or on his payroll, he should come out. I don’t like politicians’’
No doubt, Primate Ayodele has been described as a controversial Prophet who is very blunt in his prophecies and speech, and of course, he has received countless backlash and critics. He explained that he is open to criticism and he doesn’t expect everyone to like him because he isn’t a celebrity pastor.
‘’ I’m open to criticism, I’m not a celebrity pastor so I don’t expect to be loved, you can’t see me in heavy convoy or in any government house, I’m not a member of CAN Or PFN because they are shame to the society, you can’t see me in the gathering of any pastor, I go on my own, anything I say, I do to the glory of God almighty, I’m not moved by any comment, either good or bad, GOD is the only one who knows a prophet’’
On the pursuit of Okonjo Iweala to head the World Trade Organisation, he made it known that if all African leaders can come to a consensus and nominate her, she will be victorious because she is the best candidate for the job
‘’ On WTO, Okonjo Iweala can win if all African leaders come together to nominate her , she is the most qualified but she needs to be pushed, if they can come to a consensus in Africa, she will be victorious’’
Primate Ayodele further reinstated his prophecy that Covid-19 will kill more people and the peak of the virus will be July and August. He still maintained that President Buhari will still mourn if proper cleansing isn’t done in the Presidential Villa.
‘’ Covid-19 will still kill many people this month and next month.
President Buhari will still cry if proper cleansing isnt done in the villa, there is traces of covid-19. I’m not asking them to call me or buy me over, they can use their pastors , mine is just to deliver the message’’
It would be recalled that he said In this period of Covid-19, lots of corrupt officers will be exposed, and he said two years ago that corruption will fight Buhari’s government .
So far, Ngige, Akpabio, Malami have been indicted, he still maintained that if Buhari doesn’t take necessary steps, his government will be disqualified for corruption.
‘’If Buhari does not take necessary steps, his government will be disqualified for corruption, governors will still also be indicted too, there are still more corruption in his government.
Nigeria is sitting on a time bomb because our security is shaking, and people who have corrupt covid-19 money will be exposed’’
Speaking on the launch of 10,000 prophecies of his that have come to pass, he made it known that he has over 200,000 prophecy that have been fulfilled to the glory of God but he wants to pick 10,000 out of them, which is the first of its kind in the world
‘If I can have 200,000 fulfilled prophecy to God’s glory and I just want to pick 10,000 out of it, you will know there is a difference between a prophet and a new generational prophet’’
If you’re conversant with the happenings on the socialmedia, you must have come across a particular news spreading about Nigeria foremost industrialist, businessman cum politician, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede Almaroof popularly known as kendoo concerning his estranged wife.
In that report, it was said that the ever-busy real estate expert vow to do anything to regain her back.It will interest you to know that Almaroof who is presently on holiday and business trip abroad never issued such a statement or granted an interviewin in regard according to source. This according to information gathered was orchestrated by his political counterpart who are afraid of his political clout, influence and the support he has been getting from political stalwarts. Prior to that, they have decided to adopt a character assassination strategy by sponsoring fake news agains his person. A source from Almaroof’s camp said in a phone conversationthat, “As I am talking to you, Oga (Kendoo) is not in the country at the moment. He is currently on holiday and business trip. So, I can tell you authoritatively that he did not make such statements. This is a lie from the pit of hell by our political detractors who are not happy with the growing popularity of oursymbol.”Buttressing his point, he said “Otunba is happy with his life with his family, and we never expected our detractors to stoop so low by spewing lies. Meanwhile, we are focused and want the public to disregard any malignant statements about Otunba because this chairmanship project is ordained by Godand nothing can stop us.” He concluded
It would be understating the fact that Nigerian troops never recorded greater successes against Boko Haram than they did under the leadership of the immediate past Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai (rtd). Buratai, it is on record, did put in all efforts to ensure his troops were motivated with different welfare packages initiated by him for their comfort.
Prior to his appointment as the Chief of Army Staff by President Muhammadu Buhari, the military was losing its officers and men in large numbers. Thus, Buratai’s focus was to improve on the military’s operational achievements. He made a success of it and the result was the unprecedented successes in the counterinsurgency operation he is being credited for even after he exited office.
Within three months of his appointment, Buratai demonstrated his leadership capability by showing that he indeed understood the terrain of the North East, the epicenter of the insurgency. He took the war to Boko Haram and his soldiers recaptured and hoisted the Nigerian flag in Gamboru Ngala, which served as Boko Haram’s main operational base. The insurgents were chased to their Sambisa Forest hideout where troops of the Operation Lafia Dole proudly displayed vital insignias of the sect including a Holy Quran and flags of the sect’s leader, Abubakar Shekau, on national television to the admiration of Nigerians.
Improving the welfare of the army was vital in his agenda. His major policy therefore was directly for the benefit of the troops. He ensured that they were in right frame of mind in their duty. Buratai would go to any length to see and meet the troops’ needs at every point in time. Under his leadership, priority was given to the equipment used by the military to combat the insurgents, among other steps taking by him. The allowances and bonuses of the military were paid as at when due.
His concentration was centered on identifying the most pressing problems that troops and their families were facing, the needs associated with those challenges, and he utilized the resources available to meet those needs. It was also to his credit that the fighting troops were provided with constant water supply to meet their daily needs and to stabilize them emotionally and psychologically. As part of efforts to encourage his men, General Buratai on Tuesday July 25, 2017 approved the promotion of 6,199 soldiers involved in the fight against Boko Haram under his watch.
In the basic responsibilities of a leader which include accomplishment of the mission and the welfare of the soldiers, Buratai was not found wanting. He established Nigerian Army Farms and Ranches, built and commissioned block of flats at Jaji, Khobe Cantonment, Jos in Plateau State and the Danjuma Chalets at 2 Division Headquarters. The former Army chief also renovated a lot of projects he met on ground and initiated water projects including the Supply and Transport Foods and new Command Guest Houses.
Buratai’s contributions to national, regional and international peace have not gone unnoticed here at home and abroad, which, obviously, led to his being appointed a non-career ambassador after a successful military career.
In terms of projects, capacity building, training and welfare, throughout Buratai’s tenure as COAS, there was never a dull moment.
It is on record that Buratai’s leadership style did inspire the fighting soldiers, a record-breaking template his successors would also find suitable to utilize. When he became the Nigerian army chief, he made it a duty to identify with his officers and men as they launched a full-scale war against the Boko Haram fighters.
He initiated a range of activities in support of developing the force, via intensive training, mentoring, partnering, monitoring and empowering. His enabling efforts in that regards include setting up the Nigerian Army Institute of Technology and Environmental Studies in Biu, Borno State; Command Secondary School (Boys & Girls) in Kebbi State; Nigerian Army Aviation hangar at Jaji Airstrip, Kaduna; Mine Resistance Amour Protected (MRAP); Activation of Divisions Training Schools; establishing Tinapa Post Housing Development Limited Estate, Calabar; Army Warrant Officers Board; the Nigerian Army Special Forces School; First Nigerian Army indigenous infantry patrol vehicle; Nigerian Army Cyber Warfare Command and the Nigerian Army Vehicle Manufacturing Company.
Other capacity building projects Buratai initiated are; the Supply and Transport Driving School; Nigerian Army Women’s Corps; Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association Hospital; Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Command; 20 Regimentation Battalion; 133 Special Forces Battalion; 123 Special Forces Battalion; Counter Terrorist and Counter Insurgency Museum; 109 Special Forces Battalion; 4 Special Forces Battalion, Counter Explosive Devices; 707 Special Forces Brigade; Motorcycle Battalion; Nigerian Army Agricultural Business Enterprise Limited; Army War College, Nigeria; Nigerian Army Bureau De Change; Nigerian Army Investments Account; Operation Lafia Dole Sectors 1,2 and 3; Homes Fit for Heroes; Otukpo Post Housing Development Limited Estate; Buffalo Engineering and Technical Services Limited, evolution of new operational concepts, establishment of 6 and 8 Divisions, Nigerian Languages Training Initiative, and many more.
Inspiring and effectively leading subordinates, especially through a military mission with life or death implications, is no small feat. It requires leadership, one that extends well beyond the battlefield.
Evidently, for years to come, history will remember General Yusuf Buratai, particularly, in areas critically important to Nigerian Army.
