According to the Professor of Public Health, the equipment is unique because of its foggy fumigation mechanism unlike the common liquid fumigators.

“The motorized modular fumigator is an Invention of the House of Oduduwa Machine Tools & part of the contribution of his Imperial Majesty to the response to COVID19 pandemic.

” It is a locally fabricated fumigator that is unique because it uses the foggy fumigation mechanism unlike the liquid fumigation which is commonly carried out. Liquid disinfectant is converted to fog and forms droplets and this enables the disinfectant destroy viruses in droplets

“The fumigator is motorised hence minimal contact with the disinfectant & it covers a wide range of about 20-30fts radius. It fumigate faster as its dispensing pressure is high and its moved by trucks.” Prof Esimai said.
