IFALADE BAGS ANOTHER EXCELLENCE AWARD

Prince Ifalade Oyekan, the Head of the Lagos State Law Enforcement Training Institute, LETI has bagged another excellence Award for humanitarian services.

While speaking during the presentation of Awards to mark the birthday of the Holy Prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammed, the Chief Missioner of Alamotul Istijabah Muslim International Foundation, Sheik Abdul Kabiru Hamza Oladimeji described Prince Ifalade as a worthy representative of the Lagos Royalty.

Sheik Oladimeji congratulated Oyekan on the conferment of the Award for humanitarian services noting that Ifalade is a father to all like a Royal Prince should be. “He is Royalty personified. He is beyond religious affiliations and acts like a father to all.”

He thanked him for his contributions to the Muslim organization in particular and the community in general, noting, “Ifalade has related with all within his community without prejudice and has made immense contribution to the community.”

In his response, Prince Ifalade Oyekan thanked God for everything. In his words, “I thank God for the recognition and for giving me the will to do the things that brought this recognition. Without Him, I wouldn’t have been able to do this even if I have the means twice over. “

Ifalade also called on all well meaning Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of religious tolerance and eschew bitterness occasioned by religious affiliations.

He also said, “I have been encouraged to do more by this recognition. Although, I would have loved to be behind the scene doing my bit quietly, but this recognition has spurred me to do more without looking back.”

Oyekan also thanked the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for the opportunity to serve. While he also appreciated the Honourable Commissioner for Justice, his staff at LETI and members of Erinjogunola Foundation for their contribution to the success stories.

“I am overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the people around me and coildnt have got to disappoint them, ” he concluded.

Prince Ifalade Oyekan has ushered in year 2021 with an Award, just as he rounded off year 2020 with an Award for excellence.

Stanbic IBTC Receives Outstanding Community Service Award

In recognition of its meritorious contributions to the development of Olambe Community in Ogun State, Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC, a subsidiary of Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, has been honoured with the Outstanding Community Service Award in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) category.
The award, organised by Ascend Hotels Limited, in conjunction with Rainbow Entertainment, was held recently. It was an avenue to recognise brands and personalities who positively impacted the community through their activities.
The selection process was based on wide consultation with various community leaders and endorsement letters that provided specific details about the reputation, dynamic growth and sustainable business achievements and award recipients’ qualifications. Expressing the Bank’s appreciation for the recognition, Wole Adeniyi, Chief Executive, Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC, stated that the organisation is excited to reap the fruits of its various corporate social responsibility initiatives which is a testament of the hard work we put into supporting the underserved within the communities we operate. Adeniyi reiterated that the Bank, besides its business objectives, also strongly believes in giving back to the communities where it operates to create an enabling environment in society continually. “Through our Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiative, which is hinged on three major pillars, namely: Education, Health and Economic Empowerment, we consistently reach out to underserved communities and provide the assistance required to make the society a better place,” Adeniyi added.
Congratulating the leading financial institution on behalf of Olambe Community, Wale Olatunde, Chief Executive Officer, Ascend Hotels Limited, urged other corporate organisations to take a cue from Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC.
He stated that the development of the various communities in the nation was a collective responsibility. According to him: “We must be intentional in offering adequate support to the government and the people of our communities to achieve the desired growth.”
Speaking on the award won by Stanbic IBTC Bank, Olatunde said: “This is a well-deserved honour given to the organisation for being dependable and supportive over the years. We recognise and appreciate the positive impact and contributions of the organisation to Olambe Community.”

MC Ajele set for holiday in Dubai, recounts 2020 experiences

One of Nigeria’s foremost entertainer, comedian, actor and astute wedding compère, Adeyemi Ajele, popularly called MC Ajele has recounted the ugly, good and best experiences of the year 2020.

The versatile humour merchant, who has concluded plans to enjoy about 3 weeks holiday in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, recounted that though 2020, started great, the year nosedived into a shadow of a year, when the pandemic shut all actives within the country for almost 4 months.

‘What a year in retrospect, 2020? We thank God we all made it into this brand new year. I just hope we won’t overhype this one too, as we did to 2020. I’m grateful to God, despite all the chaos of the year, I triumphed. At least, we did some major events, got some corporate deals, and I was able to use the forceful holiday around April, May and June, to concreting my emotional stability’.

The ace comedian who singled out the anchoring of Bishop David Oyedepo’s daughter, Joyce, as a great comeback described 2020 as a year that’s just greatly quintessential.

‘I just want to have time off work, be privately engaged with some developmental planning, like I want to find my feet in Agriculture and some stock market trading, maybe Forex. It will also afford me the opportunity to unwind after we did back to back in the last weeks of 2020’

MC Ajele, enjoined his fans to keep the love coming in, as he’s got lot in the bag for year 2021.
