As early as 7am today, scores of widows from different Hamlet’s of Ibadan besieged the entrance of the Palace of the Olubadan of Ibadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Akanmu Olasupo Adetunji, At Popoyemoja for the Queen Blessing Foundation annual widows empowerment program.
The hundreds of widows had relished the moment that would be celebrated at their domain.
Written all over their faces, the often neglected members of the society were in expectation of a great moment with the founder and president of the Queen Blessing Foundation, Amb Queen Blessing Ebigieson, Nollywood actress, movie producer who was elected as the Vice president of Association of Movie producers Nigeria (AMP).
Indeed Queen Blessing Ebigieson who is an indigene of Okpella, Estako East Local Government, Edo state is a woman with a golden heart and great empathy for the needy especially widows and orphans.
The 7th edition of the program
which has the theme: Valentine special Celebrating the widows and Aged women holding presently will definitely bring smiles to faces of widows in Ibadan.
Already seated are hundreds of widows and more expected.
