Samsung Unveils Galaxy S22 Series: An All-In-One Gadgets With Incredible Features

Sleek, bold, stylish and fashionable best describes the new Samsung Galaxy S22 series.
Samsung Electronics, a top brand in the African smartphone and home appliances market has introduced its latest flagship smartphone series, the Galaxy S22.
The Galaxy S22 Series comes with improved cameras, photography and productivity functions while integrating a number of key features from its flagship Notes Series to make the new S23 series a must to have and use.
Camera advances were shown off, including improved night-time and motion photography.
The three newly introduced devices – Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra, to be released to the Nigerian markets, in addition to the adaptive pixel technology and enhanced AI also means this new Samsung smartphone family has ‘the brightest and most immersive display created to date.

The the question and answer segment with some selected Tech Reporters, Omonaijablog also present, the South Korean company officially said it was discontinuing the Galaxy Note.
Saying; “We are opening a brand new chapter of Galaxy. Mobile devices have transformed how we connect, work and create. But let me assure you, mobile’s potential has just begun,” Charlie Lee, Managing Director, Samsung Electronics Nigeria, said during the pre-event press conference.

For the standard model, Galaxy S22 Samsung has shrunk the screen size very slightly, down to 6.1 inches from the 6.2 inches of last year’s standard Galaxy S21.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22 Plus has a slightly bigger screen – 6.6 inches compared to 6.5 inches in last year’s S21 Plus.
Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra, the largest handset in the new family, has a hefty 6.8-inch screen like its predecessor, but it also includes the S-Pen, marking the stylus’ first ever appearance in Samsung’s S-series.

S22 Ultra: Breaks the rule of norms!
According to Solomon Osibeluwo, Key Channel Manager [KCM] & Training MGT, Samsung Electronics West Africa, the Galaxy S22 Ultra goes one step further, with a new 108MP rear camera with and 10x optical zoom, plus a 40MP selfie camera to capture crisp and clear images.
Samsung’s fastest ever processor powers a form of artificial intelligence (AI) called ‘adaptive pixel technology.
This series was set out to break the rules of what you thought mobile technology could do and, in turn, what you can do with mobile technology.
The S-Pen was famously a key feature of Samsung’s Note series. Bringing the S-Pen to the S22 Galaxy Ultra – albeit not to the other two smaller, cheaper new models – means users will be able to create everything from shopping lists and study notes, to sketches and signable documents.

Like having video calls so lifelike it feels like you’re in the same room, or sharing the clearest photos you’ve ever taken – day or night.

Ideal for ‘content creators and photography enthusiasts’, the S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus come with a 50MP ultra-wide camera and 3x optical zoom, with 12MP selfie camera.
‘With the Galaxy S22 series, we designed a smartphone that would redefine its category. A gadget that will surely redefine styles and spice,’ said Joy Tim-Ayoola, Head of Retails at Samsung Electronics, West Africa.
‘In short, the Galaxy S22 series is for everyone as Samsung want everyone to take the things they can do every single day with our smartphone and make them even more epic.

Various Variants
Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus is available in phantom white, phantom black, green and pink gold; and it go on general sale on March 11,
While the Ultra, which also comes in ‘burgundy’, goes on sale much earlier, on February 25.
The S22 and S22+ come with a 50 megapixel ultra-wide camera and 3x optical zoom. The S22 Ultra has a 108 megapixel rear camera with 10x optical zoom.
The extra high-resolution sensor was developed by Samsung but first unveiled by Chinese firm Xiaomi, when it announced the feature in its Mi CC9 Pro Premium handset in 2019.
Samsung is incorporating a stylus – its S-Pen – with the S22 Ultra, something which had previously been available only for its Note devices and its foldable phone, the Galaxy Fold 3.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra will be greeted with delight by the legion of Note device enthusiasts who have proved to be a loyal audience for Samsung, but may leave traditional Galaxy S customers scratching their heads wondering why they need a stylus.

Chika Nnadozie, Head Of Marketing at Samsung Electronics revealed that the latest additions to the Korean tech giant’s S series include the standard S22, starting at N434,000, the Plus, from N535,000, and the Ultra, which goes from N648,000 to an eye-watering N845,000 depending on memory capacity. That is, the three new phones range in price from £769 to £1,499
